	Welcome to the official website of the Gyselbrecht-Madeira colony from Ruiselede (Belgium) Doctor André Gyselbrecht, Doctor David Madeira and Peter Gyselbrecht would like to welcome you to their new website! Since moving to our new residence in 2004 we have, with great success, raced the long distance and extreme long distance under the name Gyselbrecht André & Peter - Madeira David. We previously raced under the name Gyselbrecht RAC (Remi, André & Carlo), Gyselbrecht - Vandeweghe, Gyselbrecht - De Vlieger en Gyselbrecht - Lagaisse. In 1991 the “Blauwe Barcelona” 88-4560113 won the 4^th national Barcelona against 11.423 pigeons. Four years later, in 1995, the “Laureaat Barcelona” with ring number 92-4428350 wrote history by winning the 1^st international Barcelona against 20.925 competitors and also took the "Gouden Vleugel" (the Golden Wing) home! Four years later, in 1999, we were very close to a national victory from Barcelona again, the “Sampras” 97-4432408 won the 2^nd national Barcelona against 13.966 pigeons. In the meantime a descendant of the “Laureaat Barcelona” has already won the 1^st international Barcelona in 2003 against 20.209 pigeons (by Fauche) and the 2^nd international Barcelona in 2008 against 23.708 pigeons (by Van Kerckvoorde)!!! At the same time descendants of these miraculous long distance pigeons have also booked national victories in other lofts in the following races : 1^st national Barcelona, 1^st national Limoges, 1^st nationaal Narbonne (2 times !), 1^st nationaal Cahors (is a brother of the 1st national Narbonne), 1^st national Pau, 1^st national Bourges, 1^st national Orange, 1^st national Tulle, 1^st national Montélimar, 2^nd national Montélimar, 2^nd national Barcelona, 2^nd national Narbonne (same race as 1st national), 2^nd national Dax, 3^rd national Barcelona, 3^rd national Perpignan!!! By our own lofts we have raced top international from Perpignan for two consecutive years with a grandson of the “Laureaat Barcelona”! In 2008 we raced with “Nadal” the 2^nd provincial Perpignan against 1.442 pigeons (7^th national from 7.603 pigeons and 9^th international from 17.642 pigeons). In 2009 his half-brother “Contador” won the 1^st provincial Perpignan against 1.395 pigeons (10^th national from 7.364 pigeons and 12^th international from 18.354 pigeons). “Contador” is also 2^nd Ace pigeon Perpignan international over 2 years with 0,905% (12^th international in ’09 & 148^th international in ’08). From which pigeons did we breed these toppers? Father of “Nadal” and of “Contador” is “Sampras Laureaat 33” 99-4511933 : comes out the “Laureaat Barcelona” coupled with “Nest-sister Sampras”, in other words 1^st international Barcelona ‘95 x nest-sister 2^nd national Barcelona ’99! Mother of “Nadal” is “Bonte Florizoone” 03-3054028, direct from Roger Florizoone and daughter of “De Barcelona” 95-3205840 1^st national Barcelona ’99. Mother of “Contador” is “Nest-sister Delphine” 98-4567691 : comes out “Turbo” 91-4561810 (won from Barcelona in ’94 the 160^th national, in ’95 the 47^th national and in ’97 the 36 ^th national, “Turbo” is also a half-brother of the “Laureaat Barcelona”) coupled with “Grandmother Sampras” 94-5324713.
